About Entertaiment
The word entertainment comes from the Latin intertenere, meaning to hold inside. It relates to the way the brain was evolved to deeply react to social backstabbing and other themes in life that we have become used to seeing in our entertainmetns. Entertainment is very stimulating to the brain, releasing seratonin and other chemicals. The art form has developed a great deal of flexibility over time and can be adapted to fit many different types of events and situations. It can be a private affair for two people, a party with music and dance, a large-scale performance or a spectacle designed to be watched by thousands.
